It was completely intact after an hour sweating outside in the Texas summer. I wore this one day and it was so humid that my face was covered in sweat from walking the dogs and when I went to wipe my face dry–none, I mean none of the foundation transferred off onto the paper towel. I have been using this in the now extremely hot and humid Texas summer and have been thoroughly impressed by how well this holds up in this type of climate. I love how well it sets and stays put.Įdit: It’s been six weeks since I wrote this review. I expected not to like it so much but it’s just so refreshing and light. If you can get beyond the small size for a large price tag the foundation formula is amazing. It’s marginally bigger than the concealer at 0.17 oz. The only con with this product is that it’s $95 for a 0.31 oz tube. Just use a concealer in areas that need extra coverage. If you like light coverage and live in a humid or hot climate you’re going to love it if you can afford it. I love the water like cooling feel of it and this will be a perfect summer foundation. It’s light, hydrating, dewy but not greasy, sets really well and lasts 8 hours before fading. ![]() If you keep adding while its not set it doesn’t really add any coverage and you’re just wasting it. Apply more layers as needed letting it set every time in between. Then apply your second layer, let it set. Start with a light application and let it set. Which leads to number Two-More is not better. If you roll up too much and apply from the tube you’ll breaks parts of the foundation stick off and end up with large chunks on your face. One-Only roll up a very small section at a time. I have learned two important things while playing with this foundation. Swipe the stick in a few spots then blend with your fingers. This is a foundation best applied by the fingers. This is not a foundation that will cover redness or lots of imperfections. It’s tinted moisturizer coverage but can be build up a touch to light coverage. ![]() I expected it to transfer and smear off the face like a typical dewy foundation, however this one stays put once it sets. The water evaporates and the foundation sets actually quite well. It has this cooling feel when you apply it that feels like water. The foundation has this light texture that melts into the skin. This has a sheer rose scent but nothing overpowering for me. This formula is very sheer so there’s lots of wiggle room to be able to work for your skin tone. There’s only four shades and Ocher seemed the closest match to my light medium skin tone. The Radiant Foundation Stick is packaged in the typical Cle de Peau deep blue case with a pale gold faceted cap. Formulated with signature rose fragrance.our shades uniquely designed to match with a wide range of skin tones.Formulated with Chestnut Rose Fruit Extract to help defend skin against oxidation.Glycylglycerin helps reduce the look of pores.Delivers sheer, natural-looking beautiful coverage.Illuminating Complex EX with precious platinum golden silk and pearl elements, to help moisturize and retexturize skin while reducing the appearance of damage caused by environmental stress.Formulated to respond to changes in skin tone during the day for a beautiful finish for hours without dullness.Microfacet Technology with Soft Focus Base and Focus Powder gives skin a natural-looking lustrous finish while correcting the look of unevenness caused by visible sagging, wrinkles and pores.Gives skin the feeling of moisture all day for a supple look and feel.Formulated with a unique dewy, silky texture with encapsulated color and powder that luxuriously melts upon skin with a serene water-like feel during application.Details per Cle de Peau Beaute:Ī whisper light, sheer dewy stick foundation with a divine water-like feel that blends sublimely, reveals captivating natural-looking luster and a beautiful perfected complexion. These words simply depicted the nature, class and details applied to the construction of the Timeless stage as its exquisiteness was conspicuous during the day well ahead of the fall into the night when the concert took centre stage at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre. The stage is vast, the lighting is dramatic, the extras are innumerable, and the budget for special effects is unlimited”. The beauty of the stage was reminiscent of the words of Canadian international bestseller, Yann Marte: “Nature can put on a thrilling show. The Timeless stage, the biggest in West Africa and second biggest in Africa, was groundbreaking in both design and aesthetics. Fans and music lovers trooped to the venue, the historical Tafawa Balewa Square, from far and wide to show their love and support for Davido, have fun, relax, connect and reunite.Ī show without a well-constructed stage is a no show as staging promotes the interaction and connection between the artistes and fans. The much-anticipated timeless concert by David “Davido” Adeleke, unarguably one of Nigeria’s biggest music exports of all time, was an electrifying music showpiece that further reiterated the lofty height and growth that has defined the Nigerian Music industry in recent years as Nigeria’s premier banking giant, FirstBank once again, threw its weight behind Davido. |
