I wore this one day and it was so humid that my face was covered in sweat from walking the dogs and when I went to wipe my face dry–none, I mean none of the foundation transferred off onto the paper towel. I have been using this in the now extremely hot and humid Texas summer and have been thoroughly impressed by how well this holds up in this type of climate. I love how well it sets and stays put.Įdit: It’s been six weeks since I wrote this review. I expected not to like it so much but it’s just so refreshing and light. If you can get beyond the small size for a large price tag the foundation formula is amazing. It’s marginally bigger than the concealer at 0.17 oz. The only con with this product is that it’s $95 for a 0.31 oz tube. Just use a concealer in areas that need extra coverage. If you like light coverage and live in a humid or hot climate you’re going to love it if you can afford it. I love the water like cooling feel of it and this will be a perfect summer foundation. It’s light, hydrating, dewy but not greasy, sets really well and lasts 8 hours before fading. ![]() If you keep adding while its not set it doesn’t really add any coverage and you’re just wasting it. Apply more layers as needed letting it set every time in between. Then apply your second layer, let it set. Start with a light application and let it set. Which leads to number Two-More is not better. If you roll up too much and apply from the tube you’ll breaks parts of the foundation stick off and end up with large chunks on your face. One-Only roll up a very small section at a time. I have learned two important things while playing with this foundation. Swipe the stick in a few spots then blend with your fingers. This is a foundation best applied by the fingers. This is not a foundation that will cover redness or lots of imperfections. It’s tinted moisturizer coverage but can be build up a touch to light coverage. ![]() I expected it to transfer and smear off the face like a typical dewy foundation, however this one stays put once it sets. The water evaporates and the foundation sets actually quite well. It has this cooling feel when you apply it that feels like water. The foundation has this light texture that melts into the skin. This has a sheer rose scent but nothing overpowering for me. This formula is very sheer so there’s lots of wiggle room to be able to work for your skin tone. There’s only four shades and Ocher seemed the closest match to my light medium skin tone.
